A beach wheelchair for people with mobility impairments is now available at the Rathmullan Beach and will be stored at the Rathmullan Sailing Club. For use of the beach wheelchair, notice must be given and it will be made available. The contact person is Aengus Kennedy, (086) 812 3019.

Donegal County Council are hoping that the beach wheelchair can be utilised and enjoyed by people and families visiting the Rathmullan Beach this summer. It is also hoped that the beach wheelchair can be utilised as a proactive and positive commodity for all beach users.
On Friday, 3rd June 2016 at 7pm, a Blessing of the Boats Ceremony will take place at Rathmullan Beach, at which the beach wheelchair will be launched.
